Steve and Noit Hyde in Cambodia

Steve went to Cambodia as a “twenty something” with a degree in computer science after being raised by missionary parents in the Philippines. Steve is married to Noit who survived the Khmer Rouge massacre that killed a third of the population. They are planting churches, providing leadership training in Cambodia, Viet Nam and the Philippines, translating the Bible and doing publishing. Visit Steve's website at www.asiaforjesus.org.

Dan and Heidi Groves SOWM Grads in Cambodia

Dan and Heidi have been assisting Steve Hyde since 2007 in running the children’s homes that they have for training the next generation by giving village children an education. Their responsibilities include running the administrative aspects of Imparting Smiles; teaching children English, computers and music; doing outreach to the children in the area; and assisting with short-term teams that come to Cambodia. They live at the center in Kracheh, help keep the facility running and also assist Steve with any other project that he has for them.

Imparting Smiles

Imparting Smiles desire and commitment is to create opportunities for impoverished children. We want to go beyond just providing enough food to eat, clean water to drink and a place to live. It is our goal to give them a strong education so that each of them can have the chance to make a better future for themselves, their families and their villages.

Jesse & Soar McCaul – Cambodia Outreach

Jesse McCaul went to Cambodia as a seventeen year-old youth when his parents pulled him out of his senior year in high school to respond to the call of God as missionaries. Jesse was not exactly thrilled about going, but submitted. Well, God works in mysterious ways! Jesse is now the senior pastor of what some say is the largest church in Cambodia, more than 1,000 in attendance, in Phnom Penh with more than sixty churches planted in provincial villages. He is married to Soar, a native Cambodian. They have one daughter, Jessica. Find out more at www.cambodiaoutreach.org.

Chuck and Cynde McCaul in Cambodia

Chuck and Cynde spent years raising up a great church and ministry in Cambodia and then turned it over to their son Jesse when they returned to the States for a season. In the fall of 2011, they returned to Cambodia to assist both his son Jesse and Steve Hyde as well as pursuing opportunities the Holy Spirit brings to them. So, they are mentoring leaders and working on church planting in addition to the assistance they offer to ministries there.

David Hogan in Mexico

David Hogan and his team have been working for years to reach people in the mountains of Mexico with the Gospel. They are going where few dare to go and there is much opposition and real danger, yet they fearlessly continue to take the Gospel there and refuse to be deterred from the call.

Raluca Farcus - SOWM Student (Republic of Moldova)

Raluca has been working in Balti, Moldova, since 2009 and has been helping a church ministry there called the Light of the World. She is running a discipleship program for college students and orphaned girls who have to leave because they are over eighteen. These young adults are all housed at the church facility where Raluca lives as well. In addition, Raluca helps coordinate summer outreaches to local villages, does spiritual growth retreats and helps run outreaches to the poor.
